Inspire hypoglossal nerve stimulator surgical instrument set in sterilization tray

Inspire Procedure: Streamlined Instrument Set

“You know the novice because they do too much.” As my experience with Inspire grows, I am compelled to delete. Centimeters from an incision, superfluous surgical steps and unnecessary instruments are removed with more experience. After doing an accounting of my surgical trays (3) and total instruments (130) and with the support of my institution, I was able to draw this down to the 35 instruments seen here. Imagine the time, effort and money saved by not processing those extra 100 instruments 120+ times a year! Imagine the compounded time savings in room set up. I encourage you all to delete with experience.
